ACCURACY
How is Captricity so accurate with human handwriting?
Captricity is accurate with human handwriting because we use human inspection to verify that the answers look correct before storing them in the data file.
INPUT
What kinds of paperwork can you handle?
We can handle most kinds of paper forms. Chance are, if it’s something that you give to someone to fill out, we’ll probably be able to handle it—or if it’s something that someone takes and then turns into a spreadsheet by spending hours typing in values, we can probably handle that too. See for yourself by signing up for our free beta.
Does Captricity only handle paper forms?
No, it does not. Captricity works even better with scans of paper or photos—and this allows you to skip the step of scanning or taking pictures of forms. You will get the best results with a clean, blank copy of the form you want to have digitized, however.
What kinds of formats do you accept?
Captricity can handle most image formats, including PDF, PNG, JPG, and GIF.
What do I need to get started?
Not much. In fact, by signing up you can browse our sample jobs and see how it works for yourself, with no obligation.
PRIVACY AND SECURITY
I’m worried about the security of my documents. Is my data safe?
We employ bank-grade AES 256-bit SSL encryption, all transmissions are secured, and your data is password-protected. If you work with an educational institution, we have been approved for use by various university IRBs, so please contact us if you have a specific concerns or questions relating to IRB issues.
I’m worried about the privacy of the information. Will it be visible to anyone else’s prying eyes?
Captricity has been designed so that all forms are “digitally shredded”—so only a single image fragment is visible, out of context, to anyone transcribing data. No one ever sees an entire form, and it’s nearly impossible to decipher the context of a form based on these individual data fields.
ABOUT CAPTRICITY
How is Captricity different from other solutions?
- Unlike anyone else, we let you work “self-serve,” without a need for signing a contract. Just log on.
- Unlike many OCR solutions, we work with existing, legacy documents.
- We have a very large number of workers standing by, so we can turn around documents very quickly.
- We use computer vision and machine intelligence for the easy stuff, and real human workers for verification, especially of handwritten information.
Are you hiring?
Yes.
