Mobile Capture App – Now available on iOS devices

We are happy to announce the release of Captricity’s mobile capture application on all iOS devices. Before, you had to create jobs and upload filled-in forms through Captricity’s website. Now, you can do it all through our mobile application.

How does it work?

Captricity’s mobile app interfaces directly with your Captricity account. Log in, and you’ll have access to all your jobs and templates on your phone. Start a new job, select the template you’d like to use for the job, and start taking photos of your filled-in forms. If you already have photos saved on your phone, you can upload them via the mobile app also. Submit your job directly through your phone, or save your job and add more photos to it from a different iOS device or your computer.

What can I use it for?

A recent article in the Wall Street Journal cited a study finding that 45% of respondents believed “wider use of mobile capture by field staff, along with the ability to remotely review data, would improve response time to customers by around 300%.” How will this application save you time? Sales agents can snap and upload a photo of a purchase order after an on-site visit; the data will be entered by the time they’re back to the office. Volunteer managers can capture signup forms or waiver sheets at the end of an event. Canvassers can send in images of petitions or walk-sheets as they’re filled in. Survey researchers can capture form images in remote locations.
