Meet Team Captricity: Yusuf Ertekin

June 17, 2015 by Yusuf Ertekin

Hi, I am Yusuf from Turkey. I started coding at The Computer Olympics in high school, and I’ve been programming ever since. I got my bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Bilkent University. I've worked for a couple of international companies as a full-stack web developer. I've worked in design, development and implementation of telecommunication and electricity markets, market management and trading, and many other business software development roles.

I recently joined Captricity as a full-stack web developer. I knew that this was the right place for me from day one. When I saw people working diligently while having fun, I was hooked. The ping pong table is also another one of the many reasons I decided to join. Working with our talented engineering team is helping me improve myself while having fun.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, playing ping pong, watching soccer (especially my favorite team, the Galatasaray) and playing video games. More recently, I've grown an interest in learning how to play tennis. Thankfully, my engineering colleague Nick has become a really good coach and one day I hope to challenge him in a game.
