Copy Fields Between Templates
You asked, and we listened: our latest tool lets you copy all of the fields you’ve already created on one template onto a new template. Did you make minor changes to your form and don’t want to start from scratch? Just upload your new forms as a new template and click the “Import Existing Fields” button in the toolbox. Use the fields as a jumping-off point and add, delete, or change them to fit your new forms. We’ve already found this to be a huge time saver and hope you will too! Learn more here.
Inactive Fields for Multi-version Templates
Do you use multi-version templates? We’ve heard from many users that they often have fields that don’t appear on all of their versions, and it would be helpful to move them out of the way when they aren’t needed.
We’ve added a new “inactive” checkbox to your template toolbox, and you can now mark fields as inactive on any template versions. They’ll move to the bottom of the page, and stay out of the way unless you change your mind. When your data is finished digitizing, any fields that were deactivated will display in your results as blanks.
